International Students of FISIP Undip Adorn Local Cultural Attire in Community Service Activity

Semarang – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) has once again organized the International Community Service program, involving international students from various countries. The initiative aims to strengthen understanding of local culture while promoting community empowerment. This activity is part of FISIP Undip’s international program series, which integrates cross-cultural learning, tourism, and social engagement.

During the event, participants were seen wearing traditional cultural accessories, specifically Nusantara-inspired headdresses adorned with colorful feather ornaments. International students, along with local participants, took part in cultural orientation sessions and interactive activities designed to foster intercultural relations and enrich students’ global experiences.

The event unfolded in a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere. Students from different nations actively interacted, posed for photos, and engaged in firsthand learning of local cultural values. This program serves not only as a platform for academic development but also as a venue for cultural exchange that deepens the understanding of diversity within an international setting.

Through this community service initiative, students are encouraged to recognize the importance of cross-cultural collaboration in supporting community development and promoting local culture on a global stage. Furthermore, the activity represents a tangible implementation of campus internationalization, aimed at equipping students with global insight, intercultural communication skills, and social awareness.

FISIP Universitas Diponegoro remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering international programs that foster an inclusive, collaborative, and globally oriented academic environment. The participation of international students in this activity is expected to strengthen international networks while introducing the rich cultural heritage of Indonesia to the world.
