Internationalization Leads to Success: Three UNDIP FISIP Students Attend a Fully Funded Summer School in Russia

SEMARANG – The internationalization efforts of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) have once again yielded remarkable results. Three students from the Department of Business Administration have been selected to participate in a Summer School program at Kazan Federal University, Russia. This international mobility program lasts for two weeks under a fully funded scheme, covering flight tickets, accommodation, meals, and various other supporting facilities.

The departure of these student delegates is a realization of the reciprocal benefits from the global network expansion program through the DEEP Scholarship they previously received. This collaboration serves as a solid bridge for academic exchange between Undip and educational institutions in Russia.

A few weeks prior, exchange students from Russia visited Universitas Diponegoro. During their visit, they had the opportunity to tour and enjoy the university’s excellent facilities, including the magnificent Muladi Dome Undip. Now, it is the turn of the Business Administration students from FISIP Undip to gain knowledge at Kazan Federal University while exploring the cultural richness of Kazan City, Russia.

This achievement is clear evidence of the multiplier effect generated by the DEEP Scholarship. The program not only opens one door of opportunity but also triggers a series of other international achievements for the students. Notably, the three students departing for Russia possess highly impressive global academic track records. One of them recently returned to Indonesia after completing an exchange program at the University of Nottingham Ningbo, China. Meanwhile, the other two students are preparing to depart next month for a student exchange program at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong.

This series of student mobility achievements aligns with the grand vision of the Department and the Faculty to continuously expand the global exposure of its students. Embracing the spirit of “Enhancing International Collaboration for a Broader Multiplier Effect,” FISIP Undip is committed to continually paving the way for its students to compete, collaborate, and create a positive impact in the international arena.

The active involvement of Business Administration students in various exchange and summer school programs across different continents is expected to inspire other students to continue exploring their potential and boldly seize opportunities at the global level.
