History of the Bachelor of Business Administration Study Program
The Bachelor of Business Administration Study Program (PS Adbis) has been established since 1970 and has a long track record in implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education and making significant contributions to the educational world. Achieving “Unggul” (Excellent) accreditation from LAMEMBA and Fully Accredited status from FIBAA serve as evidence of national and international recognition of the comprehensively delivered educational quality. PS Adbis also organizes the International Undergraduate Program (IUP), an international class program that has been running since 2019. PS Adbis’s track record continues to grow through its activities in education, research, community service, as well as strengthening in the student affairs, alumni, and collaboration with various parties sectors.
About Business Administration
The Business Administration Study Program at FISIP, Diponegoro University, presents an adaptive and practice-based curriculum to meet the demands of the digital era, producing graduates with three excellent profiles: Innovative Entrepreneurs capable of creating and managing independent ventures through an understanding of business management, strategic marketing, digital entrepreneurship, and business sustainability to build startups or develop globally competitive businesses; Professional Business Operators adept at managing organizations in the manufacturing, service, and creative industry sectors with competencies in business planning, HR management, financial analysis, and supply chain optimization to serve as managers, consultants, or developers of adaptive operational strategies; and Business Instructors and Facilitators able to educate and guide communities, equipped with strong theory and practical experience from projects and case studies, ready to become teachers, trainers, or entrepreneurship mentors in various incubators and business communities. With these three excellent profiles, UNDIP Business Administration serves as a driving force for the development of relevant, innovative, and globally competitive business knowledge and practice.
Education
The Bachelor of Business Administration Study Program (PS Adbis) UNDIP has implemented the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum since 2024 (Permendikbudristek No. 23 of 2023), which integrates interdisciplinary learning, student exchanges, internships, research, entrepreneurship, and social activities as learning outcomes. Students can complete their studies through a Field Work (thesis alternative) in the form of a business model design, applied research, or entrepreneurial innovation, ensuring graduates are ready as professionals and globally competitive business innovators. International competitiveness is strengthened through an international class (IUP) , student exchanges, and summer courses with partners in Asia-Europe, as well as Business Practices (Internships) with hundreds of national and international corporate partners. With this adaptive curriculum, PS Adbis is committed to producing excellent, integrity-driven graduates ready to face the challenges of the VUCA era.
