About Business Administration
In the era of digital transformation and fast-paced economic dynamics, the ability to read market trends, manage resources, and create business innovation has become a primary need across various sectors. Amidst these challenges and opportunities, the Business Administration Study Program at Diponegoro University emerges as an answer to the demands of the modern workforce and entrepreneurship. Its adaptively designed, practice-based curriculum makes Adbis FISIP UNDIP a strategic learning space for future business leaders.
Graduates of Business Administration at Undip are prepared to become innovative Entrepreneurs capable of creating and managing businesses independently. They are equipped with a deep understanding of business management, strategic marketing, digital entrepreneurship, and business sustainability. Sensitivity to market needs and the ability to develop competitive business models prepare them to build startups or develop businesses to become more modern and globally competitive.
In addition to becoming entrepreneurs, graduates are also directed to become professional and reliable Business Operators in managing business organizations—whether in the manufacturing, service, or creative industry sectors. They possess competencies in business planning, human resource management, financial analysis, and supply chain optimization. With strong analytical and leadership skills, Adbis Undip graduates can serve as managers, business consultants, or developers of efficient and adaptive operational strategies in response to market changes.
On the other hand, Adbis FISIP UNDIP also places special attention on developing graduates as Instructors and Business Facilitators. They are trained to educate, guide, and inspire individuals or communities in building business capacity. With a strong theoretical foundation and practical experience from various projects and case studies, graduates have the opportunity to become educators in academic institutions, business trainers in training organizations, or entrepreneurship mentors in various incubators and business communities.
The Business Administration Study Program at UNDIP positions itself as a driving force in the development of relevant, innovative, and globally competitive business knowledge and practice.
Education
The Bachelor of Business Administration Study Program (PS Adbis) at UNDIP consistently updates its curriculum to remain relevant to current developments. Since 2024, PS Adbis has implemented the Merdeka Belajar (Freedom to Learn) Curriculum, developed in accordance with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Regulation No. 23 of 2023. This curriculum provides students with broader opportunities to develop competencies through interdisciplinary learning, student exchange programs, internships, research, entrepreneurship, and social activities recognized as integral parts of the learning outcomes.
As a form of integration between theory and practice, students are encouraged not only to master academic concepts but also to complete their studies through a Field Project as an alternative to a thesis. This Field Project may take the form of a business model design, applied research results, or entrepreneurial innovation relevant to the field of business administration. Thus, graduates of PS Adbis are prepared not only as professionals but also as innovators and contributors to the development of modern, globally competitive business practices.
Furthermore, PS Adbis continues to strengthen its international network through the International Undergraduate Program (IUP), student exchange programs, and summer courses at various partner universities in Asia and Europe. To equip students with practical experience, the Business Practice (Internship) course remains a key component, supported by hundreds of national and international corporate partners.
With an adaptive curriculum and a strong emphasis on project-based learning, PS Adbis is committed to producing graduates who are academically excellent, highly ethical, and capable of facing the challenges of the business world in the VUCA era.
