The Business Administration Study Program has lecturers who actively conduct research programs through various schemes, including development research and local and national competitive research schemes. Each lecturer undertakes at least one mandatory research project, though in reality, several lecturers are actively involved in 2 to 3 research projects each year. Competitive research schemes that are actively pursued and funded include Faculty-level research, UNDIP research, and DRPM Dikti (Directorate of Research and Community Service, Directorate General of Higher Education) research. Some of the prominent research themes of PS Adbis lecturers include word of mouth and consumer behavior in various industries, marketing orientation, corporate social responsibility and business sustainability, human capital, and business strategy.

To enrich students’ knowledge and research experience, the PS Adbis Lecturer Research Team involves students. Student involvement in research generally includes serving as field assistants for data collection, data processing, and compiling data descriptions. Furthermore, several students with good qualifications are also involved in preparing research instruments and research reports in the form of papers.

To obtain rich research results from various perspectives, PS Adbis lecturer research involves not only internal mono-disciplinary teams but also multi-disciplinary teams and even partners from other universities.

PS Adbis has a significant number of national and international publications, generally published in reputable national and international journals, in the form of books, and even intellectual property rights (IPR) from scientific works and product designs such as batik designs and milk cracker manufacturing patents.
