The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) organizes its academic staff into Academic Expertise Clusters (KBK). An Academic Expertise Cluster serves as a unit that brings together lecturers with similar research foci and specializations. It functions as a platform for developing lecturer competencies in the areas of education, research, community service, and the personal development of each member.

Through internal and interdisciplinary collaboration, each Academic Expertise Cluster actively contributes to enriching academic discourse, fostering cooperation with domestic and international scholars, and generating tangible benefits for students and society. These contributions take the form of research outputs, teaching materials, and social programs. Currently, FISIP UNDIP oversees 21 Academic Expertise Clusters across its 5 departments, each implementing various programs and activities designed to support academic, professional, and social development.
