In the dynamics of student organizations, the ability to adapt and renew work strategies is the main key to maintaining the sustainability of an association. As a concrete step to improve internal efficiency and the quality of work programs, the Business Administration Student Association (HMPS) at FISIP Universitas Diponegoro conducted a comparative study program with the Public Policy Management Student Family (KM MKP) GAMAPI at Universitas Gadjah Mada on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Held at the FISIP UGM Building, this activity was designed as a vehicle for a Focus Group Discussion to dissect organizational structures and explore new innovations that could be applied within the internal environment of HMPS Business Administration Undip. This event was attended by both associations and accompanied by their respective supervising lecturers, namely Mr. Rendy Ega Pradhana, M.A.B from Undip and Mrs. Alvi Syahrina, S.T., M.Sc from UGM.
The event series began at 13:30 WIB with the registration process and the opening by Aqshal Pratama Endru as the MC, followed by the singing of Indonesia Raya and the anthems of each association as a form of institutional honor. The main agenda featured introductory presentations of the associations by the Chairman of GAMAPI UGM, Emil Rahadian Fadhilah, and the Chairwoman of HMPS Business Administration Undip, Chatrine Cahaya Mykino, focusing on their respective visions, missions, and departmental structures. This session provided a comparative overview of how each association manages its student resources to achieve organizational goals more effectively.
Entering an intensive discussion session, both parties engaged in issue-based deliberations and inter-departmental Focus Group Discussions (FGD). Within this space, the officials exchanged ideas regarding solutions for internal organizational constraints, conflict management, and the technical execution of work programs to ensure a more significant impact on association members. Through this exchange of insights, the Undip Business Administration Student Association (HMPS) gained new perspectives on more progressive administrative governance and organizational communication strategies. The event concluded at 4:50 PM WIB with the presentation of certificates and plaques as symbols of collaboration. It is hoped that the outcomes of this visit can be promptly implemented to strengthen the association’s internal solidarity and professionalism moving forward.
